Zhenjiang Urban Construction Investment Company is a legal institution authorized by the city government in charge of market operation of urban construction projects. With a registered capital of 1 billion yuan , total assets of 6.5 billion yuan, land assets of 6,000-plus mu and debt ratio of 52%, the company has established the firm concept in operating urban construction, carried out vigourous efforts to conduct market management and operation, and strive to rasie funds for urban cosntrcution projects. During the 10th Five-year Plan, the company invested in building a number of key urban transportation trunks like First-phase, Second-phase and Third-Phase engineering of Changjiang Road, Dongwu Road, Yushanbei Road, Paomashan Road, Huangcheng Road and Nanmeng Viaduct, and several city squares including Dashikou Square, Chunjiangchao Square, Huashanwan Square, Dongwulu Square, Health Square and Suanshan Garden, meanwhile focused on rectification and reforming engineering of old urban areas and carried out early-stage development on the land allocated by the government. In the 10th Five-year Plan Period, the investment on key urban construction projects reached 2.28 billion yuan. |
| Project Description |
The project includes a restaurant vessel, an operation vessel and the river bank parking lot. Upon its completion, the pleasue-boat will moor at Changjiang Road, the Bund of Zhenjiang, and at the foot of Beigushan Hill, and will be an overwater paradise for recreations and sightseeing, integrating with catering services, amusement, sightseeing and reception. The operation vessel was reformed from an old ship, and the restaurant vessel is 92.5 meters long, 20 meters wide and 16 meters high, which takes the form of the appearance of the passengers ships along the Yangtze River with the passages around and the stem being closed by screen walls. Its cabin will be a disco bar and KTV boxes, and the first, second and third are respectively office area, guestrooms and catering zone. A total of 20 VIP boxes, general boxes and dining hall may host 600 guests to dine simultaneously. The top floor will be used as a zone for recreation, leisure and sightseeing where a multi-functionary bar, teahouse and government reception hall will be established. Two 30-meter-long steel landing bridges will link with the shore.
The project has started construction, and will be established and dragged into the designated zone by late October. The project may be package purchased or be done by coproduction, and all auxiliary facilities and inner decoration may be fixed according to investment intention.
North Lake scenic spot is a key urban construction project of Zhenjiang City during the 11th Five-year Plan where some 8 square kilometers urban leisure and vocation zone will be established. Changjiang Road Pearl Necklace is known as the Bund of Zhenjiang, while Biegushan Hill is rated as the First Landscape Under Heaven, both of which have beautiful sceneries and dazzling sights. The project may allow tourists to get an overall view of beautiful sights, greet river wind, taste delicious riverfood, appreciate landscaping picture, and invite bright moon. |
