In the 10th Five-year Plan Period, the investment on key urban construction projects reached 2.48 billion yuan. |
| Project Description |
The project is located at the northwestern part of old urban areas, faces the Yangtze River to the north and lies on Yuntaishan Hill, and is merely 1 kilometer away from Jinshan Temple, a national AAAA-class scenic spot. Belonging to the Xijin Ferry Historical block of Zhenjiang City, the project links with the commercial street of Daxi Road, whose construtable land reaches 3.35 hectares, and will be built into a multi-functionary community integrating cultural tourism and living. Construction engineering will be done by forms of fund-rasing or BT while public facilities and buildings under cultural protection may be purchased back by the company on behalf of the government. Presently the 1.6 hectares enterprises land has been purchased by the company and the planning program is underway. The project plans to demonstrate the architecture culture in Zhenjiang concession through preservation and restoration of buildings of cultural relics, remerge Zhenjiangs history since the Opium War, and establish an open-style garden-like landscape focusing on western buildings integrating sightseeing, leisure and cultural views. Meanwhile numerous high-grade commercial and living quarters will be constructed, to enhance each others beauty with other scenic spots in the historical block of ancient Xijin Ferry Street. With elegant surrounding and noble taste, the project will be a shining star at northern riverside zone of Zhenjiang. |
